CVLT Nation Two explores the dark side of shamanistic cultures, some of which are at the root of modern day black metal, although not always recognized as such. The face paint and fetishes of metal have commonalities with the ancient traditions of the indigenous peoples of the Americas, and this influence runs through CVLT´s hand-drawn illustrations.

This season, they worked with Daniel Desecrator, Halseycaust, Elias Tormentor and Toshihiro Egawa to create hand-drawn graphics that reflect the dark spirit of CVLT Nation.

In Mishkas own words, the collection, the interview and the awesome 30 yrs Mixtape - ENJOY:

It’s our unknown pleasure to let the world know how Мишка has produced a series of clothing in collaboration with Death In June. For those who don’t know, Death in June is an intense and scary post-industrial/neo-folk music project that’s existed for decades now and pretty much created the genre of music that he exists within. Most of us here at Мишка are huge fans of Death in June and it was huge for us to get to work with him. Douglas definitely holds the whip hand in all creative partnerships but together we managed to spurt out some sick shit that makes you look like a classy menace.

We’ve got some T-shirts because people like T-shirts, and we did some snazzy hardcore skin style polos, a button down with the life & death sigils on the collar and totenkopf-6 snaps and our prestige item, the Death in June jacket with an assortment of interchangeable patches that you can change to fit your mood or sigil preference. Our friend Star Eyes, of Trouble and Bass fame has even made a special Death in June mix that contains songs that span the length of the musical project’s long career.

Please do not horde this thing even though being a Death in June fan may have given you the mindset that everything he makes is a rare collectible.

24:HRS presents Gavin Russom (The Crystal Ark/DFA)

Just one day left before our next 24:HRS party here in Stockholm. With us this we've got Gavin Russom, musician and artist signed to DFA Records. Over the years, Russom has released music under various guises, including Black Leotard Front, Black Meteoric Star and The Crystal Ark, as well as collaborative work with Delia Gonzalez.

Central to Russom's aesthetic is the search for unity between man, machine, and art, which has translated into Russom designing and building custom analog synthesizers, both for his own music and for others'. Known as "The Wizard" for his technical prowess (as well as for his signature flowing red beard), Russom has built instruments for the likes of James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem), Tim Goldsworthy (UNKLE, The Loving Hand) and Bjorn Copeland (Black Dice).

In 1998 his collaboration with Delia Gonzalez began, a project that would lead to a number of releases on DFA. Russom moved to Berlin in 2004 where, inspired by that city's flourishing electronic music scene as well as Germany's history of psychedelic music, he produced three singles under the name Black Meteoric Star, which would eventually be collected and released as a self-titled LP in 2009.

As of 2010, Russom has relocated to New York where he is producing music as The Crystal Ark. He has also toured playing synths and percussion with LCD Soundsystem.

The venue is Marie Laveau and the party starts at 22.00. Don't be late, the place will be packed early. 24:HRS Soundsystem, Greg & Tooli, will take care of the warm-up before Gavin starts his DJset.

Lördagen den 16 april är det dags igen! Mad Mats och Pure P tar åter kontroll över skivspelarna, denna gång med Aaron Phiri på micken och Anzo Badjie åter i dörren medan Robin och Asparagus hostar denna "svartfest med svart dansmusik".

Festen börjar redan vid tiotiden men fortsätter som sist ända in i gryningen. Om ni minns senast så var kön väldigt lång, väldigt tidigt och väldigt länge. Och eftersom vi har riktigt schysta priser i baren så finns det ingen anledning till att komma sent.

There you have it Folks, The 3rd and final delivery from The Death Adders: Mishka NYC! The russian bears outta Brooklyn are being totally awesome - 100%... Just when we thought we have seen it all. We didn't see that coming 7 years ago, did we?! Oversized thermal shawls, waxed canvas parkas, flannel, chambray and poplin shirts, scout work pants, denim and those snapbacks. Totally killing it - 200%. They also complete their Solomon Crest series with shirts, sweaters and Cardigans with one of the best icons coming out of the Mishka Camp - 300% and over!

Music, film and pop culture are the main influences wich has developed the strongest, warmest and most playful graphics since day one. We pay tribute to the Troubadour of all times: Cornelis Vreeswijks. We also spread some love to Chris Cornell, NIN, Ian Brown, Damon Albarn, Aphex Twin + the classic films Virgin Suicide and Donnie Darko. Homage goes out to our roots in Lebanon and the city of Tripoli. All printed, packed and wrapped up for the transitions of this lovely fall! We will Always play for you...
